Should I use Bactine on my piercing?
Remember… Do not use hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, Bactine, tea tree oil, Neosporin, or anti-bacterial soap on your piercing. Stay out of shared water while it is healing (lakes, creeks, hot tubs, swimming pools, etc.) for the duration of your healing time.

What can I put on an infected piercing?
Gently pat dry the affected area with clean gauze or a tissue. Then apply a small amount of an over-the-counter antibiotic cream (Neosporin, bacitracin, others), as directed on the product label. Turn the piercing jewelry a few times to prevent it from sticking to the skin.
Can H2Ocean remove keloids?
I had a huge keloid on my ear after my tragus piercing. I went to the piercing shop and bought some H2Ocean spray. I sprayed it like 6 times a day for about a week and a half to two weeks and it’s completely healed!
How often should you use H2Ocean?

What happens if you don’t clean your piercing for one day?
First of all, just breathe. If you’ve been diligent in your aftercare practices until now, then one missed day won’t spell the end of your piercing. Infections occur due to habitual bad hygiene rather than a missed cleaning or two. That doesn’t mean, however, that you should become complacent.
Can you over clean a piercing?

The outer opening of the piercing is best treated using liquid antibacterial soap or Bactine. If the liquid soap is too harsh it may be diluted 50/50 with water (avoid perfumed products).
Should I take out my piercing if it’s infected?
If a new piercing is infected, it is best not to remove the earring. Removing the piercing can allow the wound to close, trapping the infection within the skin. For this reason, it is advisable not to remove an earring from an infected ear unless advised by a doctor or professional piercer.
What does an infected piercing look like?
Your piercing might be infected if: the area around it is swollen, painful, hot, very red or dark (depending on your skin colour) there’s blood or pus coming out of it – pus can be white, green or yellow.
