Vail will be better….more family friendly things such as Adventure Ridge. Breckenridge is certainly cheaper than Vail. You’ll have weekend crowds at any of these resorts, but Vail is significantly larger. The kids will be in ski school and have a great time at all the resorts!

There are slopes of all difficulty levels in Breckenridge. The runs on Peak 7, 8, 9 and 10 lead down through forest aisles to the valley. In the lower area, the slopes are primarily easy to very easy. The higher you go, the more challenging the slopes become.

A pair of winter gloves is a good idea, too.
