How do you use a SlideRoom portfolio?
Applicants are presented a link within Common App to submit a Portfolio for each school’s SlideRoom account. Clicking the Portfolio link will take them out of Common App and into a specific school’s SlideRoom account for submitting media-based representations of their projects (images, videos, interactive, and more).

SlideRoom is the exclusive partner of The Common Application to receive and review Portfolios from applicants. Each school receives their own branded portal where applicants apply and another portal where reviewers can privately evaluate submitted materials.

How do you get into CCA?
To apply for admission to CCA, undergraduate students must create, gather, and submit the following:

Is SlideRoom easy to use?
SlideRoom’s design is spacious and simple to make the application process easy for all types of applicants, even those who don’t live online.
What is SlideRoom format?
You can upload images with any dimensions, as SlideRoom resizes images larger than 1280 x 1280 x 72 ppi. Videos must be less than 250 MB in size. Audio files must be less than 30 MB in size.
Do you have to pay for SlideRoom?
All schools are responsible for SlideRoom’s submission fee, which can be charged to applicants when they submit or charged to your school each quarter. The base price is $5 per completed submission. All schools need to register for a SlideRoom account here.
Does SlideRoom have a grace period?
If the deadline cuts off at the end of that day, a large number of applicants will be shut out. So, I would like to highlight a new feature that we are particularly proud of: Deadline Timer and Grace Period. Within a week of the deadline, the date turns into a countdown timer.
